Monthly Website Care Plans

Once your WordPress website is live, our collaboration doesn’t have to end. You’ll have had a handover and have full access to your website and more often than not will be happy to make your own content changes (though I’m happy to help too!).

However, content aside, WordPress requires regular updates just like your phone, tablet or computer operating system. Updates are released for functionality and security and as such it requires regular softwares updates (and backups before updates!) to keep your website online and your investment safe.

For peace of mind my clients are automatically subscribed to one of my care plans and you can be assured that your website is in good hands. You can of course opt out of the care plan (you still need hosting) and manage software updates and backups yourself, but I think you’ll find that my care plans are very reasonable and provide the peace of mind for you to concentrate on your businesss. Proactive monitoring and preventative maintenance is key; no-one can guarantee that your site will never go down, be infected with malware or compromised; but by ensuring it is maintained on a regular basis you minimise the risk and have the peace of mind that your website is fully backed up and I will be on hand to help.

Care plan clients also benefit from priority access for support and VIP Design Days at reduced rates (VIP Half and Quarter Days are also available).

Essential Care Plan

£25pcm

Suitable for smaller businesses with simple websites and minimal changes.

 

Includes –

• Managed website hosting** (shared resources)
• Premium Divi Theme licence (usually $89 per year)
• Lets Encrypt SSL certificate
• Monthly Software Updates (WordPress core, theme, plugins) ***
• Daily secure off-site backups (backups are stored for 90 days)
• Proactive 24/7 Uptime monitoring
• Daily security and malware scan
• Post update testing

** Priority access to support and 15% discount off future VIP Days, Half Days, Mini’s and Power hours.

Professional Care Plan

£50pcm

Suitable for businesses that are more reliant on their website, or have additional plugins and more complicated setups.

 

Includes –

• Managed website hosting** (Guaranteed resource level)
• Premium Divi Theme licence (usually $89 per year)
• Lets Encrypt SSL certificate
• Monthly Software Updates (WordPress core, theme, plugins) ***
12 hourly secure off-site backups (backups are stored for 90 days)
• Proactive 24/7 Uptime monitoring
• Daily security and malware scan
• Post update testing as appropriate.

** Priority access to support and 15% discount off future VIP Days, Half Days, Mini’s and power hours.

Content Care Plan

£99pcm

This package is suitable for businesses that are more reliant of their website, or where content is changing more regularily.
It includes 2 x 30mins worth of content updates.

 

Includes –

• Managed website hosting **
(Guaranteed resource level)
• Premium Divi Theme licence (usually $89 per year)
• Lets Encrypt SSL certificate
Weekly Software Updates (WordPress core, theme, plugins) ***
6 hourly secure off-site backups (backups are stored for 90 days)
• Proactive 24/7 Uptime monitoring
• Daily security and malware scan
• Post update testing as appropriate

2 x 30 mins of time for content updates per month

** Priority access to support and 15% discount off future VIP Days, Half Days, Mini’s and power hours.

* All care plans include managed hosting and the care plan is a rolling monthly plan and there is no contract.

** My hosting provider Rochen.com partners with Green Mountain Energy, the leading provider of cleaner energy and carbon offsetting solutions, to offset data center emissions.

Hours of support

Support hours are from 9.00 until 5.00pm, Monday to Friday (except bank holidays, Christmas and select holidays when support may be reduced) Please raise a support request via email.
* Note – I do not provide out of hours support. (If you require more robust 24/7 support I can make some recommendations.)

** Web hosting is proactively monitored 24×7 by my hosting partner Rochen and they will take action to resolve any hosting issues without intervention.

*** In the event of any issue during the software updates I will work to resolve this at no extra cost and will advise accordingly.

If you are experiencing downtime or performance issues with your website, please be assured that I have monitoring processes in place that notify me of issues so I am probably already looking into this.
